Hayley Pomfrett’s violin studies took place in Germany where she studied for 4 years at the Hochschule fur Musik Würzburg with the eminent Russian professor, Grigori Zhislin. Since her graduation in 2004 her career has taken off at an amazing rate and every year has brought new and exciting engagements.

Recent career highlights include being the lead violinist of the string section for Adele's highly acclaimed Royal Albert Hall concerts in September 2011 as well as performing on her chart-topping album, 21.

Hayley takes great pride in her work as a violinist. As an orchestral musician she held the position of Principal 2nd Violin with Northern Ballet from 2004 to 2011, regularly performing in the Orchestra for Ballets such as Romeo & Juliet and Swan Lake. She also plays regularly with many UK orchestras such as the BBC Concert Orchestra and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra as well as in the pit orchestras for West End Shows such as Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables. Hayley was a member of the orchestra for the ITV series 'Popstar to Operastar' in 2011.

An experienced and confident public performer, Hayley has toured extensively in the UK, Europe, the USA, the Middle East and Asia. She has played at all major UK concert venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Stadium, the O2 Arena and the world-famous Abbey Road Studios as well as many prestigious international venues such as the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi and the Beau Rivage Palace in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Hayley is a very versatile musician and her work is by no means limited to the classical field. She has recorded and performed live in concert and on TV shows with numerous pop acts such as Take That, Meat Loaf, Celine Dion, Ronan Keating, Paul Weller and Brian May. Most recently she has recorded No. 1 albums with Cee Lo Green, Adele and Noel Gallagher and in July 2011 was leader of the string section for a special ITV show with Beyonce, 'A Night with Beyonce. During the Autumn of 2011 Hayley was touring with George Michael as part of the orchestra for his 'Symphonica' tour.

Since 2008 Hayley has also been exciting audiences across the globe as an Electric Violinist. Recently she has performed on Electric Violin for corporate events in Dubai, Toronto, Paris, Munich, Lausanne, Istanbul and Florida aswell as on luxury Cruise Liners.
