Absolute Duo
Julia White (oboe) and Georgina Whitehead (guitar) established Absolute in March 2005 during their studies at Trinity College of Music. Since forming a duo they have developed a varied repertoire which covers renaissance to late twentieth century classical music, folk tunes and popular works. They have recently performed to Celso Machado (Brazilian singer/guitarist/composer) in September 2011 as part of the London Classical Guitar Festival at Bolivar Hall performing works by Celso.
Their concerts have included performances at The Bolivar Hall International Classical Guitar Festival, St. James's Church, Piccadilly, St. Peter's Church, Notting Hill and at Greenwich Fan Museum as part of the Music and Architecture Festival. As well as recitals they also enjoy informal performances and have played for hospital patients and at Canary Wharf Ideas Store, one of Tower Hamlets’ innovative public libraries.
