ALICE BAND are a vocal duo recreating the sounds you first heard and danced to in the soul clubs and bars, the kind of songs you hear now on Capital Gold, a golden era of lights and sound and bright colourful music........but that's not to say this is exclusively about the past....other eras have great dance tunes that create the same kind of atmosphere, and these songs are also represented in the sets the Band play.........this is music that's not exclusive to any in-crowd or particular age group....we all know a good tune when we hear one, it's when it makes your body start moving and weaving and dying to dance!

CAROL LESLIE has been singing throughout the world for many years, both in live bands and in shows etc. Her father was a professional musician in the best known Big Band in Ireland. Carol has already recorded an album of original songs as well as an earlier album of song covers.

JAKE BLACK is a veteran of the music scene; there are very few musical situations that Jake has not experienced, from appearing at the Royal Albert Hall to American and European tours, from recording with famous names like David Bowie and Jona Lewie, both of whom he remains friends with to this day. His reason for joining ALICEBAND with Carol, is to recreate the sounds and atmosphere of those glorious Club Classic nights.
