Playing music that everyone loves, Aquiline are well-known for reviving those forgotten old favourites but also picking the best of the latest charts and introducing them to different styles, giving them an unexpected, original and refreshing flavour.

They can play a large range of styles including pop, rock, funk and soul. Fronted by female and male vocalists/guitar players, they have a great rich sound; you will be amazed by their smooth and powerful voices, covering a wide range of musical styles and producing great harmonies.

The band’s musical standard is very high; they all have extensive experience playing with some of the UK’s biggest musicians at some of the country’s most prestigious venues. They have worked with many artists both in the studio and life, such as Rod Stewart, Joss Stone, Anja Garbarek, Lucie Sylvas, Pete Brown (Cream), Robbie McIntosh (Norah Jones, McCartney), and Dave Parkinson (Babyshambles, Happy Mondays), spanning a wide variety of genres.

Aquiline have worked for major labels including Virgin, BMG and others as session vocalists, musicians and writers. They have also worked in top studios such as Abbey Road and performed hundreds of gigs ranging from the Royal Albert Hall, the Purcell Room, Jazz Café, the Hall of Fame in Cleveland US, and the Point in Dublin.

Your event

Aquiline are fully self contained supplying high-end equipment: Top instruments and amps, professional lights (2 Evolution Effect Lights that change colour and shape to the beat of the music) and complete PA system (+ microphones that you can use for speeches).

Music in the genre of your choice is provided between sets for no extra charge (ambient during guests arrival and dinner or up-tempo to keep everybody on the dance floor till the end of the night): A great selection for every taste, played on computer based mixing software. They can provide a DJ as an option. The band can also learn requests (for example a first dance) free of charge, provided they are notified at least four weeks in advance.
