Blue Topaz Strings were created by Anna and Libby, sisters and professional musicians who have a passion for doing things well, namely playing excellent live string music, combined with beautiful presentation and organisation at your event.

The first rate musicians of Blue Topaz Strings are personally selected and auditioned and have performed worldwide and recorded in the studio with artists including Adele, Beyonce, Hugh Jackman, Stormzy, Simply Red, Lana Del Rey, Rod Stewart, Take That, Emeli Sande, Rita Ora, Birdy, Sigma, The Script, Paloma Faith, Ne-Yo, Pavarotti and Nigel Kennedy and on TV shows including The Brit Awards, Graham Norton, Live from Abbey Road, Children In Need and Jonathan Ross.

Elegant, sophisticated and versatile, we are available to perform on both acoustic and electric instruments.
We also have our own sound system and string specialist sound engineer enabling us to amplify our music so that you and all of your guests can hear us at the perfect volume whilst you enjoy a drink and a chat.

Our Exclusive String Trio and Quintet performs music from a diverse and extensive bespoke repertoire ranging from Bach to the Beyonce. All repertoire is arranged ourselves creating original versions of well known music. This also means we can arrange any piece on request no matter how unusual!

We also offer a First Dance & Slow Waltz Service :
- A bespoke string music arrangement of your favourite piece/first dance song
- A studio recording of the arrangement which is then sent to you in advance of the big day in order that you can practice any moves!
- A live performance by us on the wedding day of the piece whilst you perform your first dance
- A video recording made on the day of you performing your first dance with our accompaniment for you to enjoy together for posterity*

After the First Dance we can then stay and perform a slow waltz set to which you and your guests can dance. This can precede when you may like a DJ or band to take over. This music encompasses not only classical favourites but well known pop love songs.
