About / Biography

Chris Flegg is an experienced singer/ guitarist based in St Albans and is available for parties and functions or any occasion, formal or fun. He can also provide just solo guitar for background music ideal for receptions and dinner music. His performance have often been described as relaxed and mellow and include a variety of styles including a great selection of golden oldies from 60s, 70s and 80s, finger picking folk/country songs and, when appropriate, bossa novas and standards from the swing and jazz era.
His PA equipment includes top of the range Yamaha active speakers for larger venues and a compact combo for small spaces. There are no pre-recorded backing tracks, just real guitar playing, with subtle use of a loop pedal used live to create rhythm chords as a backing to guitar solos.

His experience includes performing at intimate family get-togethers as well as weddings and corporate functions, restaurants, hotels, pubs, social clubs and care homes.

Playing outdoors is not a problem and battery powered equipment is available for performing just about anywhere.
