Columbia is an endearing contemporary young Essex based covers band with sweet harmonies and awesome musicianship. Scott Hannaway fronts the band with one of the most naturally charming voices and stage personas on the live music circuit today, accompanied by Gary Mahone on Bass and backing vox, Tommy Clayden on Drums and James Blackshaw on Guitar and backing vox. This power house 4 piece live band have been together since 2005 and have played 100’s of events ranging from local pubs and clubs to the highest profile award ceremonies in London.

We specialise in the biggest chart hits from the last 6 decades; including hits from The Kinks, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, The Jacksons and even Dolly Parton right through to today’s classics such as Katy Perry, The Script, Oasis, Maroon 5, Take That and Kings Of Leon delivering every song with our own trademark style.

We have one of the most eclectic repertoire lists and have done everything from straight ahead cabaret party sets for weddings and birthday parties through to hosting open mic jam sessions and rock-aokes at corporate events. We have also delivered successful residencies at some of London’s top venues such as 8 Northumberland and 5 of the Ball’s Brothers E1 venues.

The band is totally versatile and can be booked to perform everything from a quiet acoustic performance for summer BBQ’s, standard pub and club 2 x 45min sets, an impact 1 hour floor filling party set, reception sets through to DJ & Percussion sets and even a Jazz Trio. For larger events we often increase the band to include a percussionist, additional guitarist, keys and even a female singer if required.

We can perform totally self contained with our full range professional PA system suitable for up to around 200 people, supporting lighting and sound engineer if needed.
