Dalcassian is a five piece Scottish ceilidh dance and reeling band consisting of first and second accordion, fiddle and drums. Based in the London area, the band plays for Scottish ceilidhs and ‘reels’ evenings. These cover weddings, Burns suppers, private parties, corporate dinners, charity balls, Reels clubs and other social functions throughout the Home Counties. They have played for The London Burns Club, The London Caledonian Society, The Highlands & Islands Club, The South East Scottish Society, and many companies and private individuals. Venues include the London Savoy, Dorchester, Hilton, Marriott and Russell hotels, The Caledonian Club, The Reform Club, the largest municipal venues, City of London Guildhalls, The Inner Temple, Army and RAF establishments, village halls, country houses and hotels. This band is equally at home at a small private party or a large corporate event, and can supply a Highland piper from within the band

The musicians in Dalcassian have many years of experience in public performance, and their aim is that the audience have a good time whatever their dancing ability. The dance caller will if required walk guests through each dance before they try it with the music. This band has a lively sound with lots of the 'lift' essential for Scottish dancing.
