Georgina Whitehead recently performed in replacement of world renowned guitarist, John Williams at the Petersham Festival, London in April 2009.

Georgina graduated with a first class BMus Honours degree, Silver Medal and The Montagu Cleeve Guitar Prize from Trinity College of Music, Greenwich, London in July 2007 for her outstanding contribution and performance activities towards the string faculty at the college. Georgina has been awarded two annual scholarships from Trinity College of Music to continue her studies on the MMus course, where she is currently studying with Graham Devine.

Georgina was awarded the Third Prize at The Ivor Mairants International Guitar Competition held in London, November 2008.

Georgina also collaborates in duos with flute (Rosie Reed) and oboe (Julia White)and Folk Quartet (The Heath Quartet).
