Harmony In Harlem is a 17-piece jazz orchestra (with singer) specialising in the music of Duke Ellington. The repertoire is authentic and original Ellingtonia predominantly from the 1930s and 1940s, and as such is unique amongst big bands in the region. For a change away from the tired, overplayed Glen Miller or modern big band repertoire, Harmony In Harlem can recreate the sounds of the Cotton Club from the unique perspective of Duke Ellington and his orchestra.
