Tori Freestone (Saxophones, flutes) has played with many groups in a wide variety of styles from Jazz to Latin including NYJO, Andy Sheppard, country legend Lee Hazlewood, the Creative Jazz Orchestra, Rory Simmons and Cuban group ‘Orquesta La Timbala’ with performances at festivals and venues including Glastonbury, the Royal Festival Hall, National Theatre, 606 Jazz Club and the London, Cork, Cheltenham, Drogheda, Jersey and Manchester Jazz Festivals. She attended Leeds College of Music Jazz Course from ’92-’95, the Guildhall Postgraduate Jazz Course in ’97 and was regional finalist of Young Jazz Musician of the Year in’96. She has also performed Improvisation workshops for the Guildhall School of Music and is now lecturer in jazz saxophone and flute at Leeds College of Music and Middlesex University……
