Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

We just require a plug socket as we provide our own pat tested extension leads and pa equipment.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.

What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue and how much space we will have to set up.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music. We are also able to take requests on the night.

Power requirements

For events where power is available we just require a plug socket and we can take care of the rest.
For outdoor events with no power available, we can perform through a battery powered speaker.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

We performed in France at a stunning Chateau for a wonderful couple from Manchester in April this year. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The Venue, the staff and the couple were all fantastic and a real pleasure to work with.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Billie Holiday, Amy Winehouse and Sam Cooke are just a few of my favourite vocalists from across the decades. We take inspiration from all genres and decades which shows in our varied repertoire of music.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We have been regularly gigging as a duo for almost 10 years.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings and Birthday parties are our absolute favourites! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them up dancing and singing along.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Set up and sound check takes around 20minutes.
Performance times options
2 x 45 minutes
2 x 60 minutes
3 x 45 minutes
All with the option of a DJ set complete with lighting.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, We love the feel and atmosphere of an outdoors gig! We're even happy singing in the rain when the typical British weather doesn't want to fit in with plans.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We're always happy to work with clients to create the set lists. We send over our repertoire for them to look through and choose from beforehand.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients most often comment on how incredibly unique and emotionally charged our performances are, we hit every genre with versatile, strong vocals and intricate guitar. We take guests on a journey with music.
