Marika enjoys a varied and international career as a singer, recording artist and bespoke entertainment specialist - tailoring performance packages to suit any occasion - Weddings, Corporate Events, Award Ceremonies, Charity Events, Session Work as well as providing Singing Lessons & Workshops for all age groups and abilities (including Private Lessons, working in Schools and Corporate Coaching).

Be it staged operatic productions, recital halls, street performance on a 7 star middle eastern man-made island, hollywood film soundtrack recordings, voice-over work, weddings or corporate events - Marika has mastered them all. Her vocal flexibility, ranges from operatic and classical works through to musical theatre, jazz, cabaret, all genres of pop and contemporary pieces.

BIOGRAPHY

Marika has performed with established companies such as Kentish Opera, Opera on the Run, Operatique, London Operaworks & City Opera, which has led her to sing at prestigious venues such as The Queen Elizabeth Hall, The Barbican Centre, St Albans Cathedral, Southwark Cathedral, Birmingham Symphony Hall. Corporate clients include Harrods, The Emirates Stadium, The Austrian Embassy, Cafe de Paris, The National Maritime Museum, Leeds Castle, Dali Universe County Hall, The RAC, The Heritage Motor Centre, The Ritz Hotel, The Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, Vinopolis Wine Centre and has participated in the Brighton, Howden & Edinburgh Festivals (UK), The Langen Festival (Germany) and The Pearl Qatar.

Having recorded material at the world reknowned Abbey Road Studios and Air Studios, Marika's vocals feature in films such as: Madagascar 2, King Kong, War of the Worlds, The Da Vinci Code, Spider-man 3, The Fantastic Four, The Island & Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire & also features on the original west-end cast recording of Cameron Macintosh’s production, Mary Poppins. Most recently Marika can be heard on the trailer for the westend production of Flashdance the Musical. Amongst her recording credits are clients such as XBox, BBC & The English National Opera and has also done commercials for Unilever and Dupuytrens Virals.

Marika was personally hand picked by BBC Dragon Theo Paphitis winning his #SBS Twitter campaign in 2011, and is a 2012 winner of Vodafone Foundations - World of Difference Programme.

Marika is CRB Checked for both working with Children and Vulnerable Adults.

Her outgoing personality and quick sense of humour, makes what may otherwise appear foreign and elitist, accessible to all.
