A professional guitarist since the age of 15, Martin has worked with many outstanding musicians who have inspired his love of improvised music, English and American Finger-style techniques and African Soukous and Highlife styles.

Martin graduated from Trinity College with a first class Honors Degree, receiving the ‘Montagu Cleeve guitar prize' the ‘TCM Friends in New York prize’ and the ‘TCM trust silver medal for Jazz studies’ Martin lives and works in London as a professional Guitarist, Composer, Arranger and Music Teacher.

As well as appearing with some of the top names in British jazz Martin, is also the Guitarist with Universal/Verve artists ‘The Puppini Sisters’ with whom he has recorded two top 20 albums and performed internationally.
