I am a professional bass player experienced in live gigs, deps, recording and tutoring.

I have been playing bass for over 20yrs and have spent most of those years freelancing as a player for bands and solo artists providing bass for studio, gigs, and tours. I have an extensive list of clients that can be provided on request and I have played many large events including Wembley Stadium and some large music festivals... not to mention plenty of the more intimate pubs, clubs, and private function circuits.

During that time, I have also musically directed many of the projects that I have been involved in and consequently, I also provide coaching/band workshops/musical direction to emerging bands that want to sound tighter.

In addition to my session work, I also teach bass guitar to people of all ages and abilities from beginner through to advanced. For this, I am qualified up to grade 8 and work from Bookham (near Leatherhead, Surrey), or North Cheam (near Sutton, Surrey).

I am available to work with you for any live performances should you need a bass player to cover a gap in your line up for that gig "you just can't cancel - even though our chap has broken his arm!"

I can also provide bass for that long awaited studio album!

Whether your needs are live or recorded, I specialised in fretless and fretted electric bass guitar across all musical genres and can play either from charts, learning your songs from a CD, or "winging it" by ear... however you prefer to work really!
