Mazaika Duo:
Mazaika Duo
Sarah Harrison (England) – violin, vocal, domra (Russian mandolin).
Igor Outkine (Russia) - vocal, acoustic, midi accordion (totally unique one-man band: accordion, piano, bass, sax, trumpet, guitar, percussion and vocal harmoniser.
Mazaika have given concerts and cabaret performances at concert halls and music festivals throughout Britain, Europe and the U.S.A.
Igor appeared on screen in David Cronenberg film “Eastern Promises” singing Russian anthem “Dark Eyes” and has sung duets with Soft Cell singer Marc Almond.
We have also worked with Antonio Forcione, Fascinating Aida, Django Bates and Loyko Russian Gypsy Band.
Repertoire:
Russian folk and Gypsy, Balkan, Tango, Classical and Opera, Hot Club Jazz, French and Italian café style, Latin and Pop.
