"I have worked with Mike on and off since 2010 and Mike is very friendly & easy to get on with, which is a must when you're on tour for four+ months. He is a very competent player who can commit to every style, is always looking to grow as a musician and encourages his fellow musicians to strive for the best. "Michael Keane is genuinely one of the most down-to-earth, committed, and professional individuals I have ever met, which makes working with him such a pleasure. As a musician and singer-songwriter it’s great to work with a drummer who not only understands how to implement any kind of groove or style you desire, but understands how to get the best possible sound out of the instrument that would complement the music. Paying close attention to the tuning of the drum kit, the positioning of mic-ing and how he varies this according to the type of gig or recording session he’s working in whether it’s Rock, Jazz or R&B is a perfect example of this. From a gigging perspective, Mike plays with authority allowing others to follow or build on what he’s doing.
