Muttonchops is a musician/entertainer who plays a variety of popular music from the 1930’s and 1940’s. Bright and cheerful in a jazzy style, excellent for any occasion, weddings, receptions, parties or if you just want good musicians playing great music. Our play list is extensive.

Past successes from the late 1960’s till today include playing clubs and major venues from around the U.K. The Northern club circuit, cabaret clubs, pubs and I have travelled and played around the world, playing the ‘3 D’s’, Dubai, Denver and Durban to name a few places but not in the same the week.

I have had a varied and experienced professional life, playing with Chuck Berry, Beverley Sisters, Carl Denver Trio, New Vaudeville Band, The Crickets, Duane Eddy and lots of other ‘60’s’ bands.

Muttonchops has played Leeds Rhinos Welcome Reception, England vs Australia International Cricket Interval, Great Yorkshire Show, Leeds Town Hall, Langons Brasserie London, Hazelwood Castle, Ripley Castle and you can see me playing regularly at Crab & Lobster, Asenby, North Yorkshire.
