Founded in 2007 with 'A Night at the Opera' at The Holburne Museum, Bath, Opera Sulis has grown into one of South West England's most popular operatic ensembles. Based in the World Heritage City of Bath (Aquae Sulis) Somerset, the company brings together singers with a wealth of experience gained on major concert platforms and leading opera companies. These include Welsh National Opera, Scottish Opera, English National Opera, D'Oyly Carte, European Chamber Opera and many West End Musicals.

As well as staging an ever-growing schedule of our own concerts, we provide high quality performances for corporate entertainment, private parties, weddings, civil ceremonies and musicians for all kinds of events. Our broad repertoire of opera, operetta, popular classics, showstoppers, wedding and Christmas music is designed to transform any event into a truly memorable occasion. Bespoke programmes of music, including special arrangements can be provided as required in close consultation with you.

The company has an extensive repertoire and can perform in every kind of venue - concert halls, churches, hotels, restaurants, village halls, gardens and theatres. Performances are usually accompanied by piano, but we can supply a small chamber ensemble if required. Backing tracks can also be used.
