‘Ready Steady Go’ are a 4 piece professional ‘live’ band with a ‘retro’ image showcasing the best of popular music from the 1960's including The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Who, The Monkees and The Small Faces.
The Group specialise in providing entertainment for weddings, corporate functions, private parties and live venues and their live show delivers a night to remember to audiences of all ages and in venues of all sizes. Throughout the evening not only will the music keep you moving, the sense of humour and character of the band will also shine through.
Outstanding sound, atmospheric lighting, solid musicianship, strong vocal harmonies and stylish visual presentation are all guaranteed to keep the dance floor packed all night long.
The live show is supported by video footage of 1960’s groups, news, films and advertising projected onto a screen at the back of the stage area and each member wears authentic 1960’s clothing.

The band play in the true sense of the word ‘Group’ sharing lead vocals between the three guitarists with all four contributing to backing vocals affording a realistic sixties beat group sound.

The group have been together for many years having started through a shared keen interest in the 1960’s music, culture and fashion.

‘When we decided to play as a functions band, the sixties music was the obvious thing to specialize in. Everyone recognizes the songs and they appeal to people of all ages. Perfect for a Wedding, 40th or 50th birthday party or Christmas parties.’

‘What suprises us is that approximately 20% of our gigs are for 21st birthday parties and 20% are for 50th parties!!’ It seems the sixties music is fashionable no matter what age you are’
