"It can be daunting when booking musicians for a party and not being sure of how things will turn out. DO NOT be daunted - look no further! The professionalism of Greg and Paul absolutely MADE our New Year's Eve party at the Badger Bar in Rydal this year. From the start they approached the planning for the evening with enthusiasm and a can-do, helpful attitude. The slightly challenging nature of my pub (two rooms, not one big open space) presented them with a opportunity to play their sets in two different places ensuring everyone felt involved, even encouraging the two rooms to be competitive with the volume of their applause! Their playing and singing is great, but you get so much more than that when booking them - they were involved with the entire evening, helping run the raffle, the quiz, and of course timing the countdown to 2012 to perfection. Above and beyond all the way. Book them if you can!"

"'Something Like This…' played at our charity Champagne & Canapé' party on the 15th August 2011. They were very professional, entertaining all the guests with 2x 45 minute sets. In the last set everyone was up dancing, they absolutely made the night and we have no reservation in recommending them and will be using them again at any function we organise in the future. "With torrential rain, strong winds and limited visibility threatening to dampen the spirits on our Ullswater steamer, it was amazing to have Greg and Paul on board to save the day. Their skill, enthusiasm and ability to match the music to the mood of the guests worked absolute wonders. From a lovely atmospheric beginning to a sing-a-long crescendo, they created an incredible atmosphere throughout the evening. From my 2 year old nephew to my wife's 92 year old grandfather and everyone in between, the dance floor was full of energy and a real sense of fun. It was important to us to have a great band and 'Something like this' did not disappoint in the slightest. As two talented musicians and two captivating characters Greg and Paul brought a strong credibility and a very professional approach for which we are very grateful"

"'Something Like This...' were definitely one of the reasons that the inaugural Greystoke Beer Festival was such a success. Based on the quality of music performed by Greg and Paul we are sure to sell out next year if they are on the bill again. They had people up dancing and really created a brilliant atmosphere with their enthusiasm and energy; they made the whole evening great fun and very memorable. A great accompaniment to real ale tasting! I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a talented band to play at their event."
