Soul'd Up are a Soul, Funk & Disco function band based in South London. They have been playing weddings, parties & corporate functions since 2003 and have a long list of satisfied customers. All members have extensive experience in the music industry, having performed with the likes of the Sugababes, Edwin Starr, Mario and Martha Reeves.

The band is available in 5, 6 or 7 piece lineups. Right at the front is soulful lead singer, Sheila who always blows audiences away with her powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence. Backing her are the funky foursome- Mark on Drums, Spy on Bass, James on Guitar and Rich on multi-keyboards. Where requested by the client, the band also performs with sax or an all-female two piece brass section.

Soul'd Up are always guaranteed to fill the dancefloor and get even those in the audience in their seats singing along to an unrivalled mix of soul, funk and disco classics. All the major eras are represented in their set list- from the Motown and Atlantic era of Aretha Franklin, The Temptations and the Four Tops to 70s disco from the likes of Chic, Sister Sledge and Gloria Gaynor, 80s soul/funk such as Shalamar and Gwen McRae right through to the present day with artists like Amy Winehouse, Adele, Joss Stone and Ce Lo Green.

Soul'd up typically play for between 90 and 120 minutes and provide all the sound and lighting equipment required to perform at all but the largest of venues. They can play music on CD between sets as required or can make introductions to DJs as appropriate.
