Stephano has been performing and recording professionally since 2001.Past engagements as bandleader or sideman/sessioner include: Jazzwise festival 2208 (leader), Ronnie Scotts Brit Jazz festival 2011 (leader...sold out), Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho 2011 (Leader), Jazz Britannia Festival (Sideman to Norma Winstone), as wll as sessions on well known tunes by the likes of Cornershop and others, plus all kinds of prvate gigs.

A virtuoso guitarist and bandleader/writer with a background in jazz, funk, Indian, Rock, Afrobeat and more, Stephano is available with the following line-ups.

Solo guitar....electric or acoustic
performing relaxed and ambient takes on classic tunes, with a chilled feel for any occasions. Reportoire always chosen to suit the occasion.

Duo....with bass/double bass, percussionist, horn player or other as requested, as well as brazillian/jazz tinged duos with singers specialising in same.

Trios
Indo jazz trio (with John edwards and Thomas White). John is a recognised worldwide as a premier free-jazz bassist, and Thomas is my drummer of choice for this trio that has played Ronnie Scotts together amongst other spots. The tunes have a foundation in rhythms from around the worl laced with eastern melodicism and furious free intervals.

Jazz trios: with any combination of guitar plus...bass, sax, percussion, drums, trumpet.

Indo-Jazz Quartet:
Playing a mix of standards and originals from Indo jazz classics to chilled grooves and brazillian tunes...with sax, trumpet or flute as second soloist. The band have played venues such as Pizza Express Jazz Club as headliners, and Ronnie Scotts.

Full Hearts Band
A quartet or quintet playing mostly originals, by Stephano, instrumntals with foundations in Rock, Indo-jazz, pastoral and Folk music plus songs about the city, about helpless romance, and about alternatives to war. http://www.myspace.com/fullhearts
