The Collective is a versatile collection of the UK's finest Jazz musicians, available in a range of ensembles, including duo, trio, quartet and quintet with vocals. From background dinner jazz to up-beat songs, the band can tailor a set list to suit any client's needs. Versatile in style can also provide with a variety of line-ups including the addition of a guitar to suit a gypsy jazz style or drums for a full sound main stream jazz quartet.
Led by saxophonist Carlo Fraccalvieri, who is completing a BMus Music degree at Cardiff University, this dynamic young band is perfect for any type of event and has performed at several events and parties across the UK, for prestigious clients such as the Defence Academy of The United Kingdom, BBC, KLM, Air France, the Manor House, ExCel London, Cardiff Museum, Birmingham Museum.
The members of the band have performed at prestigious festivals and clubs, such as Brecon Jazz Festival, Pizza Express London, Ronnie Scott's, Tuscia in Jazz (Italy), Gezziamoci (Italy), Porthcawl International Jazz Festival.
The Collective are able to supply you with a professional service assuring a great customer service. They have their own portable amplification and only need main power supply. Fast set-up, can perform indoors or outdoors. The band is flexible with regard to the ensemble line up, dress code, special requests, set and playing times, in order to meet the requirements of the client and to ensure that the event is a complete success and enjoyed by all.

Standard Trio (saxophone, piano and bass)
Performing a variety of music ranging from bossa nova, funk and blues numbers, the band creates a relaxed and classy atmosphere, which enhances the enjoyment of any meal or drinks reception. The size of this ensemble is perfect to provide music at a background level, which is clearly audible but does not interfere with the conversations.
Standard Quartet (Sax, Piano, Bass, Drums)
Still perfect for background music, the quartet has the ability to perform a full concert for all music lovers, playing a set of jazz standards including funk and blues tunes. This ensemble is perfect not only for functions but also as the main evening’s entertainment.
Hammond Trio (Saxophone, Hammond Organ, Drums)
This 3-piece band features a repertoire based around the classic sound of the Hammond organ, saxophone and drums. This band can be funky, soulful, jive, swing and retro; expect to hear again the great Blue Note record label artists of the 50’s and 60’s. Still perfect for background music, the quartet has the ability to perform a full concert for all music lovers.
Gypsy Jazz Quartet (Sax, 2 Guitars, Bass)
Infectious rhythms and vibrant blend of gypsy jazz, funky, Latin and jazz standards all played on an acoustic line-up of saxophone, two guitars and double bass. This line up is the perfect addition for any event.
