Formed in 1997, The Picts have become one of the most popular bands on the folk rock and concert scene. They have reached out with their unique brand of celtic rock and captivated hundreds of audiences both at home and abroad. The songs and instrumentals are upbeat, powerful and irresistible for dancing. Never a dull moment!

We have different line up options depending on what you would prefer. We do modern rock style ceilidh or more trad ceilidh, which can be mixed with cover songs, such as Van Morrison, Queen, Monkees, Beetles, Greenday, Waterboys, Steve Earle, Runrig, Eagles, Etc. We can also add in a wide range of celtic, folk and Burns songs if required.

Band Line ups:
4p band-Drums, Keyboards, Accordion, Guitar, vocals

5p band -All of above plus one of the following instruments 1) fiddle or 2) bass guitar or 3) whistles/ bagpipes

6p band- All of above plus two of the following instruments 1) fiddle or 2) bass guitar or 3) whistles/ bagpipes.

7p band supplying all the above instruments.

Alternatively we can supply smaller or laid back acoustic set ups with 2p and 3p bands.

All dance calling is included and we supply our own PA and lights.
If you have an Ipod, we can play it through our PA system at the breaks.
