The Kasuals are a 4 piece eclectic 1960’s inspired band formed in Spring 2008 consisting of Alex, Colin, Lee and Kevin. Our band’s collective musical influence and depth is steeped in the 1960’s as detailed in our pen pictures below and includes ex members of high profile 1960’s bands. Following on from extensive rehearsals in 2011 we are ready to entertain young & old alike with our personable blend of on-stage humour and classic 60’s songs.

Predominantly we cover classics by The Fourmost, The Searchers, The Troggs, The Kinks, Cliff Richard & The Shadows, Billy J Kramer & The Dakotas, The Merseybeats, Roy Orbison and The Beatles amongst many.
Our extensive musical anthology ensures we can perform covers from the 1970’s and 1980’s to enable us to have a wider appeal and remain timeless.

Alex – Rhythm guitar & Vocals

As fans already know, Alex brings with him, great vocal talents, that steady rhythm guitar and his cheeky humour, not to mention being an accomplished bass and mandolin player.
Alex had a successful era with the country rock band Bush Country back in the mid 70’s cutting a few vinyl’s along the way, as well as playing and appearing in several bands with 80's TV comic, Phil Cool.
Alex has appeared and performed with some of the biggest names to come out of the 60’s, Mike Pender (Searchers), the Searchers, Dave Berry, Wayne Fontana, Hermans Hermits, Merseybeats, Jet Harris, Craig Douglas, John Leyton, Gerry Marsden, the Fourmost and the Swinging Blue Jeans to name but a few.

Colin – Lead guitar & Lead Vocals

Colin has played and performed with some of the biggest names to come out of the 60’s, Craig Douglas, PJ Proby, Amen Corner and not forgetting a couple of years with the Rev Black & The Rocking Vicars.

Lee – Bass guitar & Vocals

Lee, although the youngest member of the band also has vast experience of playing to live audiences around the UK.
Lee played rhythm guitar in the well established Lancashire based 60’s band Oh Boy for a number of years, has also deputised with his father’s band The Fourmost at such venues as, Butlins, Warners and a short stint over in Greece.
When not gigging with The Kasuals Lee can be found stood behind his mixing console whilst touring with The Fourmost around the UK.

Kevin is the drummer and lead vocalist/frontman.

Kevin has played with and backed some of the biggest names on the 60's scene, having worked with Mike Pender of The Searchers, Dave Berry, Wayne Fontana, Tony Crane and Billy Kinsley (Merseybeats), Jet Harris, Billy Davis, Hermans Hermits, the Swinging Blue
Jeans, John Leyton and Marty Wild to name but a few. He has been drumming since the early sixties and has toured extensively ever since. A seasoned pro!
