Kate is perhaps best well known for her work with the 1940’s inspired, chart-topping vocal harmony trio known as The Puppini Sisters. Having being awarded a Gold Disc for album sales, appearing all over the world with the Sisters including appearances on The Royal Variety Show, This Morning, Loose Women, Jonathan Creek and BBC Breakfast news to name but a few, The Kate Mullins Duo is a rare chance to hear this wonderfully versatile singer in an intimately solo role and gives Kate the chance to flex her vocal chords around some of the best songs from both the classic jazz song-book as well as a wide selection of more contemporary pop songs.

Kate spent 4 years studying jazz vocal performance at Trinity College of Music in London where she studied under some of the most respected teachers and performers on the current jazz scene including Anton Browne, Anita Wardell, Trudy Kerr and Victoria Newton. As a soloist, Kate gigs regularly up and down the country and has performed at some of England’s top venues including Ronnie Scotts, Chelsea’s The 606 Club, The Spice of Life, RADA as well as Jazz Under The Stars (Swedish Jazz Festival).

About the Duo

The Duo play a wide range of jazz standards and popular songs. They are the perfect band for background music at any event where a wide range of guests are in attendance - something for everyone. Kate performs with a range of pianists and guitarists who provide the rhythmic drive to complement her unique talent.
