Whigmaleerie are a five-piece Ceilidh Dance Band based in the North East of Scotland, Preforming‘Ceilidh and Covers’ Music and Song.

With over 27 years experience as a Ceilidh Band playing at venues all over Scotland and with their blend blend of drums; fiddle; keyboards; guitars; and vocals gives the Whig's a contemporary sound.

Being a totally live band, not relying on 'backing tracks' to enhance their sound, gives The Whig’s the flexibility to integrate and participate with their audience and gives a relaxing, fun loving feel to any event where they perform.

Whigmaleerie's selection of music and songs are not purely traditional Ceilidh however as we offer a selection of titles from the 1950's through to the present day covers. This gives a wide variety of music to which anyone can dance to at your wedding, function, or corporate event and offers splendid entertainment for all ages and tastes
