We ask for ease of access with gear to the performance space.
We require a safe power supply, whether performing indoors or outdoors.

Outdoor performances we will require sufficient cover and protection for the band and the gear, incase of bad weather/direct sunlight.

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets, as standard. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
A manned DJ service is also available, as laid out in our pricing structure.

Our best gig was probably Wicked Hathern Festival a few years ago, when we were asked to support Toploader. It was such an honour to play before a band of that level, and we had a fantastic time!

Venue-wise, a stand out for us was a charity ball we played at the National Space Centre in Leicester. What a backdrop!

All of our band members come from very different musical backgrounds, and I think we all bring that to our creative table when choosing songs to cover and how we put our own stamp on them!

We started gigging as Spektrum back in 2015, when husband and wife Paul (bass) and Eleanor (vocals) decided to work on a musical project together, alongside their solo projects. We got Paul's brother, Steve (keys) involved and then expanded to include some of our band mates from other bands, whom we've worked with for many years. Being family and long-term friends gives our band a warmth that we think translates to our chemistry on stage. We are far less formal than some bands you may see, but we still bring our professionalism and experience to every booking.

We love all events, but there's something about the buzz performing at a festival in front of thousands of people that is indescribable!

Setup typically around 90 minutes, depending on space. For bookings requiring an early set up, such as for a wedding ceremony, and then a fresh set up for the evening reception, a change-over time period of at least 2 hours will be required, to ensure the highest sound quality.

Performance times for the band are 2 x 1 hour sets, as standard, with a break in-between. This could also be split into 3 x 40 min sets.

Solo vocalist/musician performances are typically between 30 minutes and 1 hour - usually for a wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast or drinks reception. These are flexible to suit your event schedule.

When booking a disco option with your entertainment, typically this would cover 7pm-12am, with the band sets appropriately played within that time. Later finishes/earlier starts may be subject to additional costs.

We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area

We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 3 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them
